Africa - A hologram of Saddam plunging headlong over Victoria Falls inside a barrel of sweet light crude is one of President Robert Mugabe's personal favorites to top the bill in Zimbabwe's forthcoming US$300m theme park.
The project sees hundreds of other iconic global figures feature in the Mugabe dream described today by Tourism Minister Walter Mzembi as 'f+++ing hilarious' given the country's teetering on the verge of bankruptcy.
"And being run by a stupid madman," the Minister's designated rickshaw driver commented, "clinging to life via a Michael Jackson-esque cocaine supplement administered by buxom Nurse FiFi from Brazil."
Other planned attractions in the Mugabe theme park are said to include a Tarzan holodeck - program ripped off from Star Trek Voyager - where crowds are bound to throng at US$50 per ride.
The average Zimbabwean salary of US$85 per annum does make the math interesting with initial projections of a US$100 million annual profit hard to compute - unless Mugabe's holding some sort of miraculous ace up his sleeve.
An advance bookings hotline opens on the first of next month.
Make queen mudder's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register , the thumbs are just down there!)
