More Amazing Places To Visit 2017

1. Macchu Picchu: Peru

Machu Picchu was once an estate for the Luca Emperor and a place of worship and education. It stands as one of the world’s most remarkable acheological sites in the world. The ancient site was rediscovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham (3). He was a Yale historian explorer.  It had been naturally covered under green mountains and clouds of mists for ages. At its discovery, Machu Pichu immediately began to attract tourists from all over the world up to today. People who have visited Machu Picchu say it’s close to experiencing history, discovering things like Luca’s ‘uran-core’, ancient temples and agricultural zones, breathtaking views of the site and get to see Inca styled iconic pyramid shaped mountain.



2. Victoria Falls/ Mosia-oa-Tunya (The smoke that thunders)

Victoria Falls is a breathtaking waterfall in Zimbabwe. It is the world’s largest sheet of falling water. The water that feeds the falls comes from the great Zambezi. It was discovered by David Livingstone in 1855. He was a British explorer, and is believed to be the first ‘European’ to have visited the place. He named it ‘Victoria Falls’ in honour of the British queen, ‘Victoria’. There are loads of fun activities at the resort.

3. Timbuktu

Once you set your foot on this lithe ancient city of Mali you can’t help it but just to fall in love with everything it has got to offer. “Most people think of Timbuktu as the remotest place on earth. Others even think of Timbuktu as a legend or a place which exists in people’s imagination.” www.timbuktuheritage.org/tmhistory.html The administrative city started by the great people of Turaneng Imashagan in the 11th century, the place became a renowned centre of Islamic teachings and a trading establishment. It also became one of the earliest places in Africa to have a University that was made up of three major departments and 180 Quaranic schools, as well as having the world’s earliest library. The place has for long attracted worldwide visitors from as early as 1625 hosting famous names in exploration as Rene Caille: here is what he thought about his Timbuktu experience “When I entered this mysterious city, I was overwhelmed by an incredible feeling of satisfaction, i had never felt before in my life and my joy was extreme”

4. Tayrona Park Regional Park

The mind easing National Park was established in 1969. Tayrona Regional Park lies near the Santa Marta Carribean Coast in Colombia. The place has one of America’s delightful coastlines. This mind-easing space is located 30 minutes from the city of Rodadero, marked with beautiful beaches, hammocks to rent for the night, food, water and a good place surfing (that’s if you’re an experienced one). The place is always on a lovely 25-30 degrees celcius temperature that allows you to have a wonderful time outdoors.

5. Bali Indonesia

Summing up pretty much of every Bali’s visitor’s comments in three words, “Bali is magical”.  Bali is one of the most famous resort islands in Indonesia; the holiday resort merges wonderful mountain panorama and breathtaking beaches. The island has received a number of World’s most prestigious Awards in travel including the Travel& Leisure Magazines. Best Island in 2009 and “Lonely Planet’s Best of Travel 2010 ranking Bali as the second place among the world’s Top Regions”.
