Should You Believe In Pre-launch Rumours: Judge (Does the Samsung Galaxy have these features?)

The 2017's flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 has been set for release on the 29th of March shunning the April 14th release rumors. The date was recently announced by the Smartphone maker Samsung during its pre-NWC Conference and said the unveiling will take place on the day at 11: AM EDT (8:30 IST in New York). The launch event is set to be streamed live on the company's website, on March 29; "Samsung Electronics will unveil the newest Galaxy as part of its endeavor to unbox your phone. The forthcoming addition to the Galaxy lineup represents the start of a new era, by reshaping the device that has over the years become indispensable tool in our everyday lives", reads Samsung's official website on the event. The phone will be released in two different versions marked by different sizes, the larger one which will be called Galaxy S8+, and a smaller one and they will both have an 'edge' style which means good bye to the flat screens.

Rumors; features, specs, appearance and what not to expect,

Reliable leaker, Evan Blass's, (@evleaks), preview on his twitter blog of the Samsung Galaxy S8 has given the biggest glimpse so far on what the Smartphone will look like (see image below).












The pre-emptied features of the S8 suggest an entire design overhaul compared to the previous Samsung Galaxy versions in the series and also the company is hinted to flaunt some of 2017's greatest mobile hardware.

Features under speculation include; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Chip, HD display, increased screen-to-body ratio as suggested by the minimal bezel-design top and bottom, 4K Screen, SD830 chip, USB-C.

The render also confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S8 won't have a fingerprint sensor at the front; and will have two short cut icons for accessing the phone dial pad and the camera are at the bottom corners.

The power button appears to be on the right side, while the volume button is on the left.

A separate button to activate Bixby Samsung's new virtual assistant application. Available display sizes of its Quad HDs Super ALMOLED and will reportedly be 5.8 and 6.2inches.
